M400 - Mayflower celebrations and departure cruise

Join us in Plymouth and be a part of their Mayflower 400 commenorations.  Join the start of the original voyage course and then sail onboard Snark down to picturesque Fowey in Cornwall.

12 September 2020

• 18.00 Embark at Barbican in Plymouth.
• 18.30 Introductions and safety briefing.
• 19.30 Dinner onboard

13 & 14 September 2020

• While we are moored on the Barbican quay in Sutton Harbour use Snark as a base to enjoy the many celebrations and entertainment within walking distance. Full details to be added. All meals and refreshments will be available on board or you can walk ashore to the many restaurants and cafes in the area.

15 September 2020

• 11.00 Join activities to tie in with Mayflower celebrations in Plymouth ashore and / or afloat. (Detailed itinerary to be confirmed in due course.) Lunch and refreshments will be served on board.
• 17.00 Anchor in Plymouth roadstead.
• 18.30 Dinner on board.
• 20.00 View celebratory fireworks from water.

16 September

Weighed anchor. Wind E.N.E., a fine gale. Laid course W.S.W for northern coasts of Virginia. Mayflower log.

• 07.30 Breakfast on board.
• 08.30 Join the departing ships on start of voyage to Virginia. Sail out to Eddystone Lighthouse. Lunch and Refreshments will be served on board.
• 16.00 Moor in the Cornish pirate port of Fowey.
• 16.30 Take a tender ashore and explore the pretty, historic town of Fowey.
• 19.00 Return to Snark on river.
• 19.30 Dinner on board or stay ashore for dinner in town and a later pick up.

17 September 

• 07.30 Breakfast on board.
• 08.30 Leave moorings in Fowey and sail back to Plymouth. Refreshments and lunch on board. 
• 17.00 Moor at Mayflower Marina.
• 17.30 Disembark at Mayflower Marina. (Overnight accommodation is available on board by arrangement.)

All food and refreshments where detailed onboard are included along with bedding and linen.
