New menu..

The last tarte de Santiago, masala poached plums and cream went out on Saturday evening and with that our Moorish dinners are over for a while (see menu page for next dates).

This week we move to Italy with a warming autumnal set menu straight from moma's kitchen; antipasti misto, ciabatta, linguini con salsa di noci della Genovese, (that's pasta with walnut sauce), minestrone con cannellini, stufato di agnello (lamb casserole), tiramisu, torta di fico e nocciola (fig and hazelnut cake).

On the 8th November we are hosting a wine tasting evening with a simpler Italian menu coupled with 6 Italian wines presented by our local vintners from Regency Wines. The selection will include very special wines from some rare and traditional grape varieties as well as more familiar styles.
