Mayflower 400 adventure on sailing barge Snark - Leg 7 Dartmouth to Plymouth

5 September 2020

• 17:00 Embark on the town pontoon in Dartmouth. Introduction and safety briefing.
• 18:00 Dinner on board.
• 20:00 View the Mayflower 400 Son e Lumiere and fireworks from the river.

6 September

• 08:00 Breakfast on board.
• 08:45 Caste off and motor past Bayards Cove and the Dartmouth Castle into Start Bay. Set sail for Start Point and along the coast to Salcombe or a sheltered anchorage depending on weather and wind. Keep an eye out for our resident pod of dolphins and other coastal wild life. Lunch and refreshments will be served underway.
• 17:00 Moor in Salcombe Harbour or anchor in a sheltered anchorage.
• 19:30 Dinner on board.

7 September

Made Plymouth Harbour, and came to anchor in the Cutwater, followed by consort.

• 08:00 Breakfast on board.
• 09:30 Weigh anchor and set sail along the beautiful south Devon coast to Plymouth Sound. If wind and tide allow, we may sail out to the Eddystone Lighthouse on our way to Plymouth. Lunch and refreshments will be served underway.
• 17:00 Disembark at Mayflower Steps in Plymouth. (N.B. This is subject to obtaining special permission of the Harbour Authority, otherwise we will disembark nearby on the quay adjacent to the Barbican where Mayflower anchored in Plymouth.)
