2. Calais to Caen

Sail from Calais, down the coast of the Pas de Calais, around Cap Gris-Nez, stopping off at the Norman invasion departure port of St Valery sur Somme and the pretty harbours of Fecamp and Honfleur and then up the Ouistreham canal past the D Day sites such as Pegasus Bridge to the ancient port city of Caen. Here you can visit the normal cathedral and well as the famous ww2 museum dedicated to the D Day landings and the battle of Normady.  Bayeux is a short bus ride away with it's famous tapestry.
