Terms of Booking
Thank you for choosing to book an event on Snark. We look forward to meeting you. By making this booking you are entering an agreement with us as set out in our terms of booking below. This agreement is governed by the law of England.
The price of the event is all inclusive unless otherwise stated.
Children under 5 are not allowed on board. Children between 5 and 12 must be accompanied by at least two supervising adults. Children between 12 and 18 must be accompanied by at least one supervising adult.
Sorry, we do not allow pets on board.
By making your booking, our agreement is a legal contract between us and is not transferable without our agreement. If you advise us that you cannot join us more than 28 days in advance, we will refund 90% of your payment and cancel you booking. If you advise us that you cannot join us at less than 28 days notice your payment will not be refunded and we will cancel your booking.
If you wish to transfer your booking to another person(s) this must be done through us. The transferee must pay in full and we will refund your payment to you less a 20% administrative fee. Once an event is fully subscribed we will attempt to re-sell your booking. If we are successful we will refund 80% of your payment.
Non-availability of the event
We will only cancel your booking if running the event becomes impractical or unsafe for reasons beyond our control. We will always attempt to offer you alternative dates and transfer your booking at no extra charge. If this was not possible, or unacceptable to you, then we would refund all monies paid by you. Our liability will not extend beyond this refund.
We would recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to cover these risks. Overseas guests must carry appropriate travel and health insurance cover. We do not cover your personal possessions under our third party cover. Please ensure you have suitable personal cover for them.
Access to SNARK will be available to you from the time set out in the event details. We may not be able to accommodate earlier arrivals unless pre arranged with us. We will meet you at the location noted in the event details. Please be there ready to depart with all your belongs, after parking your cars, at the designated time. There may be reasons why we cannot wait for you if you are late.
Late arrival procedure
Please ensure you contact us as soon as possible to let us know if you will be arriving late. We will make all reasonable efforts to get you on board as soon as we can. This may require you to get to an alternative embarkation location or to take a water taxi or other means of getting to SNARK. You will be liable for any additional costs incurred. If it is impractical or unsafe for us to get you on board we will not refund your payment.
Please be ready to leave SNARK at the time set out in the event details or advised on the day. We will provide you with an invoice, payable on departure for any additional services you may have used during your stay. We will arrange to return you to the departure point or another prearranged location.
In the event that we have had to change the itinerary because of events outside our control we may have to disembark you at an alternative location. You will be responsible for arranging and paying for alternative ongoing transport.
Damages and Breakages
Please take care when staying on SNARK. We ask you to report any incidents as they occur. We do not normally charge for minor breakages, but we may send you an invoice for repair or making good if the damage or breakage is significant and / or deliberate. We may make an additional charge of 10% if you did not report this.
We do not accept any liability for any damage, loss or injury to you or any member of your party or any vehicles or possessions, unless proven to be caused by a negligent act by ourselves or our employees or contractors whilst acting in the course of employment. We are only liable for direct costs arising from a claim.
