Come and explore the diverse cuisine of the Dart valley from the water. Join us on the water front in Dartmouth late morning on Friday before walking to lunch at a quayside retaurant the Angel run by professional master chef finalist Ellie Wentworth. Afterwards sample the exciting local produce showcased at the Dartmouth Food Festival. In the late afternoon cruise up the Dart to the riverside Malters Arms in Tuckenhay, Keith Floyd's old haunt, for dinner.
Stay on board over night and after an on-board breakfast of local produce, and a short cuise, step ashore at Sharpham on Saturday for a private tour of their famous wineyards and a wine and cheese tasting. After lunch at Sharpham or an adjacent hostelry, a taxi will be provided for you to re-join SNARK in Totnes or for a wander round this fascinating transition town. Dine at one of its famous vegan retaurants before staying a second night on board.
After breakfast on board, visit the renowned Totnes Good Food market on Sunday morning and choose your own local produce to bring back on board for a picnic lunch as we cruise back down the river to Dartmouth.
All on board food and refreshments are included along with bedding and towels. The wineyard tour and taxi are included, however meals and refreshments ashore are not.
